The Marines were asked to come in by the Lebanese government. The Israelis had invaded Lebanon and we sent peace keeping forces. Reagan sent in 800 Marines but was required to withdraw them within 30 days according to the War Powers Act. After the withdrawal 1500 Marines were sent in 2 weeks later.
Reagan said it was essential that Israeli forces withdraw. The Israelis continually harassed the Marines. The Israelis were going to withdraw and we asked them to delay the withdrawal so we could get Lebanese troops in position. The Israelis withdrew, leaving the Marines in a crossfire between Syrians and the Lebanese. The Syrians (muslims) were attacking the Marines and we were firing back.
Lack of resolve from the Reagan administration ended in the deaths of many marines.

5th Mission – Boss Battle: DonbalonGIRLS – Arroyo HS 4×4 (2010) – Mission Valley League Champs
This was an intense race for the title of “Mission Valley League Champs.” The race was ultimately between Arroyo, Gabrelino and Rosemead High School. Running for the Arroyo Knights were:

Marguerite performs in “wolf’s clothing” for “Imaginary Journey through Middle Eastern Dance”, an annual fundraising show for the local YMCA in San Diego “Mission Valley”. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin – Mission 07 – Hidden Valley
Remember the mission “Jungle God” from Codename 47? This mission is as pointless build-up as that was, but more annoying. Finding a nice way through the level was taxing, and it was so close that I didn’t just run-and-gun it (I did, but didn’t use those recordings).
I feel it wasn’t worth it getting Silent Assassin ranking, after all that work it just amounts to no entertainment. Silent Assassin achieved in walkking from point A to point B? Whoop-de-doo.
For those of you who don’t know, there are snipers who can spot you easily if you don’t wear a ninja costume. They can kill you in one hit and although them spotting you does nothing regarding the normal guards, it’s annoying to hear the alarm anyway.
The ninjas all have nightvision goggles, so they’re not fooled by darkness in the tunnels.
The ninjas ALWAYS stop you to check your ID if they spot you anywhere near when you wear a ninja costume. The costume really doesn’t help you a lot, it’s only effective at very long range or if you don’t mind knocking the guards out when they come to check your ID. I had loads of fun luring them to check my ID and then strangling them or shooting them in the head when they were close enough (you can also use anaesthetic if you don’t want any kills).
With 10 levels of Hitman 2 seen so far, I have come to the conclusion that Hitman 2, and Hitman games in general, are far more fun when you don’t bother with the end results and just go berserk if you feel like it.
I said in the beginning that I wouldn’t specifically go for the Silent Assassin rank, that I’ll get it if it seems worth it, but this mission and the next two have made me realize that I would so much want to just… strangle every single guard rather than walk slowly around them, waiting half a minute at a time for them to face another direction, only getting some action every 20 minutes or so when it’s finally time to kill the target.
I’m a hitman, God it! I want to strangle henchmen!
