<p>In our modern society people are always in a rush. They do not have time to read text and they judge everything fast and based on external factors. Take a look at web sites around you. Which one is more fun to use? Which one is more successful? The answer would almost always be web sites that have lots of graphics elements and photos on their pages and that are designed in a cool and fun way. Sites that are based on pure text are less fun to use and usually attract less attention from users. Product listings are not different. Text based listings are boring and many users would not bother to read them but instead would just go to the next listing that has photos and graphics on it. Digital photos allow users to see in a second what is the listed item is it what they are looking for and what condition it is in. If the user is then interested he will go to further read the fine prints. </p>
<p>For example lets say that you are going to sell a digital SLR camera. Think about the potential buyer. Which site are you more likely to buy the camera from a web site that has lots of pages with small font dense text with any information possible about the camera or a web site that has many digital photos of the camera from many angles and in many situations and a short list of main features? <p>Users expect instant satisfaction in everything they do and buying online is not different. The best way to get users attention to your item listings is to present a bunch of high quality photos of the item.</p>
<p>The quality of the digital photos of the item is very important. Following high quality photography rules is critical since the quality of the digital photos directly reflects on the perception of the item quality. If the digital photos are of high quality the user will project that quality on the item and vice versa if the digital photos are bad the user will perceive the item to be of bad quality even if reality is different.</p>
