Does anyone know where in Montana you can actually see a river split at the continental divide? near Butte?

Im gonna be travelling through northern Wyoming or western Montana on the way into B.C. Canada, and was wondering if there is anywhere near there where you can actually observe the water flowing in two different directions? I remember somewhere much further south (probably in Colorado or New Mexico) where I stood in the middle of a river right at the junction watching the water flow one way to the Gulf of Mexico and the other flowing to the Pacific ocean. Any info would be wonderful thanks!

No, but may I suggest going to see the triple divide peak if you’re going to be in western Montana? It is farther north than it sounds like you’re planning on being, but it seems like you might find it interesting. This is the point at which 3 different drainage systems meet. It is located in Glacier National Park.
