Some questions about western states, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, &/or New Mexico?

I like these states most since visiting them when I was a kid, and was thinking when I move out that’d be where I’d like to go…if I had a better idea of the prices, etc, it would help me choose where to visit when I’m trying to pick a place. Not interested in eastern states, so don’t go mentioning Kentucky or something unless it’s dirt cheap. ;P

>Where are the cheapest places? (I’ve heard there’s places in Wyoming as low as $500 an acre if you buy like 5 acres, but I dunno where exactly)
>What’s the average cost to get an acre (or a few for a deal)? *for exact area see list below
>Good places for young adults starting out
>Places with National Parks or such

*Exact places I’m interested in:
Taos, NM
Raton, NM
Red Rock, AZ
Gillette, WY
Places near Yellowstone National Park & Glacier National Park
(I’m majoring to be a Park Ranger or Photographer)

Hi, I wrote an article on Yellowstone recently, however it was about the volcano not the area.

However you might find it interesting:
