  • TOOWAY INTERNET BROADBAND FOR EVERYONE EVERYWHERE!

Posted by admin on March 6th, 2010 and filed under Internet services | 13 Comments »

Tooway™ is the next-generation broadband delivery service that’s faster and more flexible
Satellite is the future of broadband
Tooway™ uses satellite technology to supply homes with fast, flexible broadband Internet access.

Despite considerable progress over recent years, the digital divide is still very much a reality in Europe. Currently some 20 million homes across Europe cannot access ADSL or cable networks and this will decrease only slightly to 15 million homes by 2010. That’s why Eutelsat and ViaSat have joined forces to deliver a new system for two-way broadband services.

No more waiting on terrestrial suppliers
All you need is an exterior Tooway™ satellite dish (similar in size to an ordinary TV satellite dish) and an in-house modem. There are no surprises with Tooway™ either, you just ‘plug-and-play’ without having to worry about additional software installations or cumbersome hardware. Once you are set up, you can benefit from broadband Internet at unequalled download speeds.

Yeah, I have the satellite internet… terrible, terrible, terrible… lol
I shall try bothering my politicians, though. Maybe that will work.

      wow….you should …
wow….you should then get the satellite and bother your politicians until they deliver an alternative to you. (try convincing your town to put up their own municipal network, that will really bring competition to your area and lower prices)

Nope, can’t get DSL either. I comes within two miles of our house….
No Wifi, no DSL, no Fiber, no T1…. were screwed XP lol

How about DSL? That should work pretty good. Fiber optic is still the only medium that is designed for the Internet originally and so is the best. Cable was first for TV and DSL for telephones.

@pratt123 Some of us can’t get cable. What should we do about that??? :P

      Don’t use Satellite …
Don’t use Satellite Broadband then. You are asking for lag. Get Fiber-optic service or at least a good DSL line. Cable works too but is expensive and sometimes requires you to buy a package.

And if you had any idea of what you were talking about you wouldn’t of said that… satellite internet is going to have massive and I mean massive lag no matter what. Its because it has to travel from your house, to space, back to earth, then to their centers… And the other way around as well. Giving you 500-700 average ping in games.

    12. mich27g Says:

if you had any idea …
if you had any idea of internet connections you would already know this. dont download anything while playing. if using wireless router keep it away from sources of interfearence.and keep it as high as possible.
