formerly, i was using my cell phone to get internet services, before recently when i bought the laptop. Quite unfortunate, i am still obliged to use my cell phone

Before you do what Sri Teja said make sure if its wireless that your wireless is turned on. Then follow Sri Teja instructions

   I think your local area connection is disabled.
   There are a few simple steps to enable it-
   1.Go to start and then select the option "Connect To"
   2.Click on show all connections
   3.Right click on the local area connection and click enable.
   Then try reconnecting the internet
