Which is a better marriott hotel in San Diego, the one in Mission Valley or La Jolla?
The La Jolla Marriott isn’t really in La Jolla. It’s in University City between two freeways (I-5, I-805). It caters mostly to business travellers while the one in Mission Valley has more tourists.
They are pretty much the same but location is everything. It really depends where you want to go while in town. One is near UCSD and the UTC shopping mall, the other is the middle of Mission Valley and is steps from the trolley line as well as close proximity to Sea World, the beaches, downtown, the convention center, Balboa Park, and the zoo.
